For anyone drawn to unbridled freedom; for those who know independence; who live out loud, outside the lines, and outdoors every chance they get. For every untamed spirit, ariat is for you.
This is a very nice boot. I purchased a different style Ariat boot about a year ago and have loved wearing them. I mean, I wear these boots all the time. So when I decided I wanted another boot but somewhat different, I went straight to Ariat and ordered the same size. Unfortunately, this pair/style/size is more narrow. I have to return this pair but will continue to shop bearing all this in mind.Great well-made boots! The photos sold me on this pair of boots and I've had some really good experiences with Ariat boots lately. They're just so much more comfortable and definitely do not disappoint. I bought these to replace a pair of designer knee-high leather boots that have worn down in the sole after five years of wear and are a little stretched out. When I got them they were pretty stiff though and I felt like the right boot was a little bit tighter in the calf than the left boot. But that could also have been due to the fact that I had surgery on my left ankle and my left calf is significantly smaller than my right one. However. It did take about a week before they got broken in, and all discomfort has disappeared. I have wide feet but the medium width isn't causing me any problems so after breaking them in they are awesome. The leather isn't the delicate soft leather that you have to worry about shining and caring for. This is sturdy leather meant to last and has a sort of matte finish so it doesn't get scuffed or look dingy if you want to run a marathon in them, not that I'm planning to. I feel really good about the investment in this pair and am confident I'll get more than five years out of them. However, if you have wide calves these might be too tight for you. In comparison to other women, I do have chicken legs so the slimness of the calves work well for me. So if your calves are on the narrower side, these boots are quite flattering. If your calves are on the wider side and have the patience to stretch them out a bit then best of luck to you! These boots fit right out of the box!!! Usung for stable work and ground work, hopefully soon riding! These boots are Wonderful!!!Beautiful, stylish, casual. Perfect with jeans or leggings. True to size. I am size 10 medium with average calves and a little on the narrow side foot. Fits me perfect with room for thick sock. The brown I got was suede so hoping I don’t scratch them. The black was normal leather so pay attention to that when ordering. Both are great and I recommend. A little stiff but I don’t mind and I’m sure they will loosen up.I love these boots. They are really pretty and made well. Only reason I am giving 4 stars is when i walk the back of the boot creases in on the back of my leg right above my ankle. I have never had boots do this. Almost returned them but such nice boots I decided to keep them. The zipper on my most beloved pair of black boots recently broke, so I decided to pick up a new pair. I ended up purchasing these, and while they are okay, they aren't my favorite. So far they haven't been very comfortable. It's surprisingly difficult to get your foot in and out, even in super thin socks. It seems like the zipper could have been designed to go down toward the sole of the shoe a little further to make getting them on and off easier. They are also on the tight side, in every area - the heel and the top of the shoe particularly. I do have high arches, so the tightness in the top of the shoe could just be me, but it makes them uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. I tried stretching them with a shoe stretcher and while that seems to have helped a little, it's still not great. I'll wear them a few more times and see if I can break them in, but if you plan to purchase these, I'd recommend going up a half size. I almost always wear a size 6 with no variation, but these just feel tight (and there's no way I'd be able to wear them with thicker winter socks). That said, I did wear them through snow/puddles, and they were indeed waterproof like they claimed, so that's a big plus!Boots are extremely stiff at ankle it resembles wearing ski bootsI bought these boots for our trip to Ireland- they are exactly what I was hoping for.Comfortable- durable- water resistant- and stylish.I’m 5’8” at 145 and the shaft fits perfectly with room to wear over jeans and the height of the shaft falls about 2 1/2” below my knee. I have walked over 10 miles in them so far and they still fit and look great.NOTE- I highly suggest wearing wool socks. The boots rub a little at the ankle- when I wear wool socks it adds padding and protection around the ankle. Aside from that - they are perfect.Buying shoes and boots online is always a gamble. And I've never had much luck with boots. These, though, are perfect. I have small calves, and they are an excellent fit. Not much of a gape, but enough room to wear thick wool socks so that I can use these in winter. With the wool socks, they really keep the heat in!They are true to their waterproof claim -- I have worn them through two winters and not a single leak! They are in as good condition as the day I bought them. Exceedingly happy with my purchase.Fit perfectly right out of the box. I'm always size 9 and that's what I ordered. I've worn them around town and for riding once and they're great. Really good quality and sturdy feeling. I don't feel like they will wear out any time soon. I have narrower feet and calves and they fit great.I enjoy ariat products, the boot fits well ,the shaft is tight. This is a bit disappointing but I leave about an inch undone so it’s ok.
