I've got at least half a dozen Bill Anderson vinyl albums,and wheras I can live with them a little longer while I re-collect other artists,there is one Bill track I REALLY want!That track is THREE A.M. However,try as I might every version appears to be a re-record...good,but not good enough.I've got a pristine version on minidisc,which has the pronounced acoustic strum and wide stereo separation (this i now obviously out of fashion,but suits THIS track!)which is missing on the re-record.Does anyone feel as frustated as me over such trivial matters?I even thought the expesive (but always excellent)Bear Family compillation might be the way to go,but note that alongside THREE A.M.,are the dreaded words...re-record.Please note I am not usually a moaner,and am 99% satisfied with Amazon U.K an U.S.
